Ndị Nsukka and shadows By Tobe Eze

 Ndị Nsukka and shadows

The disheartening thing about this generation is that they prefer the shadow more than the object. Always looking for a place to damage something or life in the name of one stupid thing or the other. In this country where the government has made even the unborn children to complain about hardship is where my people ndị Nsukka are always busy with some stupid activities

Firstly, this year 2021, I can say without fear of lying that about three persons lost their lives during the activities of either Akatakpa, Odo, Oriokpa, Kakpo, or Omabe etc. These youths involving in these activities are being supported by those who are holding the keys to their destiny and instead of working towards releasing themselves, they will tell you that even our men in the government are supporting us, omenala anyị ekpokogu (our tradition will not go into extinction). Where are their own direct sons and brothers? They bring money and you bring your life and destiny. Be wise ndị youth Nsukka. Continue Reading..................

Secondly, recently what we are facing or the matter wey we dey settle na ticket people wey kill a Keke driver. Because there are no better jobs that you can do in the government except the Agboro work, that is why you should take lives because of the work. I have been a victim of the ill treatment this people put on their fellow brothers and sisters in the name of emblem and rate. It is our civic duty to buy emblem and rate for those who are working but the way you follow people in order to make them buy it is very inhuman. There should be better ways of doing that I think to avoid losing another life.

Now, you as a masquerade flogging your brother or sister, giving him or her series of injury or even causing because he or she did not give you money, what have you done to the Fulani herdsmen that have damaged crops and lives in your towns and villages? The country is very hard and all of us are experiencing it and you have the mind to forcefully collect money from your relations struggling to survive in the name of culture. How many politicians from your villages, towns and communities that have eaten everything good coming to you have you stopped for once and asked questions?

You that is Onye Agboro, you treat people so inhuman because of emblem and rate. You do the work because there are no job opportunities in the country but the person who employed you for the job has already secured jobs for his secondary school children and relations. Na kwa echeku. You do all sorts of things to make people to obeying the emblem and rate law and if during the process, you cause a serious harm, the same people that employed you will deny you and imprison you. Just negodi.

If we can as youths channel the energy we use in all sorts of masquerades to making the Fulani herdsmen leave our lands for us, I bet you, they will run away. If we use the same energy to question our rulers about our lives and future that they are playing with, they will fear us and be very careful with what they do than collecting money from them and wasting our lives and future. If we use the same energy we use to do ọrụ Agboro to ask for those posts or positions our leaders have left for their secondary school children and relations, they will certainly give us half of them. The only problem here in Nsukka is that we like the shadow more than the object. Ka anyị nakwa echeku. Daru nooo
